1. General Terms
1.1 These terms and conditions govern all bookings, services, and activities provided by Sheesh Mahal Desert Camp.
1.2 By making a reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.
1.3 These terms apply to all visitors, including individuals, groups, or corporate clients.
2. Booking Policy
2.1 Reservations can be made via our website, phone, or email.
2.2 All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
2.3 To confirm your reservation, a deposit or advance payment may be required. Failure to make the advance payment may result in the cancellation of your booking.
2.4 The camp reserves the right to refuse bookings at its discretion, especially in cases of incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the guest.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Payment can be made via credit/debit cards, online banking, or cash upon arrival.
3.2 The booking amount will be split into two parts: an advance payment and the remaining balance.
3.3 The advance payment is non-refundable unless stated otherwise under the cancellation policy.
3.4 Any additional services or activities availed during your stay will be charged separately and must be settled before departure.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
4.1 Guests must notify the camp in writing of any cancellations.
4.2 Cancellations made 15 days or more before the check-in date will incur a [Insert %] cancellation fee.
4.3 Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before check-in will forfeit the advance payment.
4.4 Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in will not be eligible for a refund.
4.5 Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within 7-10 business days.
4.6 No refunds will be provided for early departures, no-shows, or unused services.
5. Check-in and Check-out Policy
5.1 Standard check-in time is 3:00 PM, and check-out time is 10:00 AM.
5.2 Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
5.3 Guests must provide valid identification during check-in. Acceptable forms of ID include government-issued photo identification, such as a passport, Aadhaar card, or driver’s license.
5.4 Guests failing to comply with the check-in policy may be denied entry without a refund.
6. Accommodation and Amenities
6.1 Sheesh Mahal Desert Camp offers luxury tents equipped with modern amenities while preserving the essence of desert life.
6.2 Each tent is designed to provide comfort, including bedding, attached bathrooms, and running water. However, water and electricity supplies may sometimes be limited due to the desert’s remote location.
6.3 Any misuse of amenities or facilities resulting in damage will be charged to the guest’s account.
7. Camp Rules and Guest Responsibilities
7.1 Guests are expected to maintain decorum and respect the privacy of other guests.
7.2 Smoking is allowed only in designated areas. Smoking inside the tents is strictly prohibited.
7.3 Alcohol consumption is permitted only in specific areas and under local laws.
7.4 Guests are responsible for their belongings. The camp will not be held liable for lost or stolen items.
7.5 Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times to ensure their safety.
8. Activities and Excursions
8.1 Sheesh Mahal Desert Camp offers various activities, including camel safaris, jeep safaris, cultural performances, stargazing, and bonfires.
8.2 All activities are subject to availability and weather conditions.
8.3 Guests must follow all safety instructions provided by our staff during activities.
8.4 The camp shall not be held liable for injuries, accidents, or mishaps occurring during activities unless caused by gross negligence.
9. Food and Beverages
9.1 The camp provides authentic Rajasthani and multi-cuisine meals, prepared fresh daily.
9.2 Guests with dietary restrictions or allergies must inform the camp during booking or at least 48 hours before arrival.
9.3 Outside food and beverages are not permitted unless explicitly authorized.
10. Pets Policy
10.1 Pets are not allowed at the camp, except for certified service animals with prior approval.
10.2 Guests bringing service animals are responsible for their behaviour and must ensure they do not disrupt the experience of other guests.
11. Liability and Insurance
11.1 Sheesh Mahal Desert Camp is not liable for any personal injury, illness, loss, theft, or damage to property during your stay.
11.2 Guests are advised to have adequate travel insurance covering personal accidents, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen events.
11.3 The camp is not responsible for interruptions or delays caused by natural disasters, political unrest, or other force majeure events.
12. Force Majeure
12.1 Sheesh Mahal Desert Camp shall not be held liable for cancellations or service disruptions caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters (floods, sandstorms, etc.)
Political unrest or strikes
Epidemics or pandemics
12.2 In such cases, guests may reschedule their bookings without additional charges, subject to availability.
13. Behavior and Conduct
13.1 The camp reserves the right to evict guests who engage in inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to:
Disrupting other guests
Damaging property
Illegal activities
13.2 Evicted guests will not be eligible for a refund.
14. Environmental Responsibility
14.1 Sheesh Mahal Desert Camp is committed to preserving the environment and promoting sustainable tourism.
14.2 Guests are encouraged to minimize water and electricity usage and dispose of waste responsibly.
14.3 Littering or damaging the desert ecosystem is strictly prohibited.
15. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
15.1 Sheesh Mahal Desert Camp reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
15.2 Guests are responsible for staying updated with the latest terms and conditions.
